Smiles ....

SMILES ...... first let us take a moment to thank all those soldiers in the world that laid down their lives in war.... on this Memorial Day.

There has been so much unfortunate news and postings on the group lately that ...to me and probably many others .... we need a moment of smiles to combat the Debbie Downer starting to take effect.

Maybe all of us could add a smile ( post in the photos icon ) here and take a moment ....like with Memorial Day .... to post or say a short positive addition to help us remember we are still here ( in whatever shape ) to see one more day with our family and loved ones. Give our significant other a hug and a kiss and feel good for the opportunity. Support our brother warriors in this common war for our own lives.

Just say’in 😊😊😊❤️❤️❤️

Thank you AJ .. this group is the best resource for stage four help , advanced medical advice and stage four brotherhood one of us could ever hope for. An old cliché “ misery loves company “ takes on more significance here where all the brothers “ get it “. Understandably this place can be glum .... constant news of warriors passing ..... brothers entering hospice ..... warrior brothers that have finally ... hopelessly, run out of Bullets and enemy rapidly advancing. No one could realistically expect giddy joy or just plain upbeat much of anything here. ...... still , like I said above ... just being alive today is a foundation for a little joy ( miserable as it might be ) ... kisses and hugs with your partner on top of that is worth a smile. Having brothers that share this boat ride with you helps spread the burden too ... that’s definitely smile worthy.

Lots of other guys here are better “glumbusters “ ( Dan Aykroyd ) than I am , they are good teachers too. Sometimes a little attention diverting nonsense is a good thing to light up the darkness some. Yayahahahaya yayahahahaya.

Hi Noirhole. Haven’t heard from you in some time. How did you experience with Lu177 in the VISION trial go?

I had a good response to the LU-177. It reduced tumors by 40 percent. I did not have access to my PMSA scans so no clue on how much cancer was expressing that protein. The study did not follow up with a final scan to see if all was gone. I did experience an explosive tumor growth in my lymph nodes after which blocked my uters causing near kidney failure and the addition of dual nephrostomy tubes for about 8 months. Now doing chemo since December which has also shrunk tumors to near normal levels and allowed for the removal of the nephrostomy tubes. So going into summer life is good I can swim and kayak. Tuesday is poisoning day as I write this from my Infusion chair. I hope my clinical trial experience helps facilitate the drug approval by the FDA soon.

Another perfect example of a warrior bobbing and weaving and ducking the punch’s as much as possible .... talking about kayaking , swimming and an upbeat summer. Makes me feel better just thinking about it ... I’m right there with “ ALL that “ brother. Right there on it ....

Great idea. I am doing well after 2.5 years of diagnosis, ADT and busting my ass with exercise, asking God to protect me from all evil. Last PSA was . 5. Love and admiration to you all.

Keep on smiling my brothers. End of June I’m going to Greece for two weeks. My son is getting married over there. One year nine months ago I was diagnosed with Gleason 9-10. The beast has gone into remission. Quality of life is the same as before. I don’t know what the future will be but enjoying beautiful summer now. Love to y’all.
