Update husband went for checkup PCA down with lupron and xandi less than 13 referral to radiology has anyone had the radiation and side effects and results does it zap the cancer or another smoke screen. Stage 3 cancer.

Well, of course he should be getting radiation for his curable prostate cancer. How did he get Xtandi if he has no metastases?

Could you please provide more info? Is he "high risk"? What was his Gleason score? Did an MRI detect cancer in the seminal vesicles or outside of the prostate capsule? What was his PSA before Lupron+Xtandi?

His PSA before treatment was 400 Gleason scores on biopsy from 6-9. So far scans a year ago showed has not spread contained in prostrate . Adenocarcinoma and is metastasis.

You just wrote two contradictory things- it has either "not spread, contained in prostate" or there "is metastasis" It can't be both.

It can kill cancer if it hits the cancer. My PSA went to undetectable. I had no side effects, your mileage will vary. Yes, more info is needed to comment.
