Has anyone had bone pain after lu-177 treatment? I actually just returned from Germany last Friday from treatment. What a mess going through Homeland Security. I set off every radiation detector. The bone pain I am having is pretty rough. I am call my US doctor this morning. Just wondering it will pass.
Thank you

Of my 6 sessions of Lu177, I had no bone pain despite having numerous bony mets. This treatment is different from external beam radiation which often gives a pain flare due to inflammation. I can imagine the geiger counter going off the wall !- not so funny if you are feeling shit and paranoid about immigration officers.Take NSAID, opioids, what ever it takes for analgesia.
Yes, my SO is still having intermittent severe lower back bone pain even after his 2nd LU177 treatment. I'm trying to look into whether the cancer is in his bone marrow whereby he might need ACC225 treatment. Do they do that treatment in Germany? They do it in Austria but I think you need a bone marrow biopsy. I will check this week.
