Visceral fat is a killer. Greater PCa & cardio mortality.
The news that mCRPC men with greater adipoity repond better to "chemotherapy combined with maximal androgen ablation" is interesting.
CRPC tends to increase visceral fat. So what does it mean to be CRPC & yet have low visceral fat?
I'm in no hurry to be CRPC or on chemo, and I don't interpret the study findings as saying that obesity is a good idea.
