Thanks for the article. One problem I see is obtaining an accurate dose when they are talking about exact dosages of CBD and THC. It's one area the industry is behind in.

I prefer the whole plant in it's natural form since there are many valuable compounds that exist naturally in the plant. The Indica strains have both THC and CBD and both are synergistic in relieving pain without the psychoactive effects.

Humans having a habit of ruining things with processing and trying to improve on something that doesn't really need improvement, IMO.

I agree. But now that it is easily purchased recreationally and/or medically, controlling dosage may be a way for medicine to make some money off of it. For me, if I choose to use it at some point, I am going natural, big green fluffy bud.

I consulted with the director of a Pain Center at a major university , and he advised me to use oils since it is very difficult or impossible to know how much cbd or thc one ingest when using the natural product.

For Thc , you must sample it first a little and there after dose to your preference of high . .

I haven't found that it needs to be such an exact science, especially considering the risk of overdose is non-existant. Once I buy a batch of flower, I just start with a very small amount and adjust as needed.

The important thing with edibles is that you follow the "low and slow" approach. You don't want to end up "couch locked" unless you have a lot of pain.

Bravo for patients !

Child of the 60s here (aren't most of us?)

Rediscovered, as it were, weed. Medical marijuana is legal in MD.

Try the gummies or soft gels; no smoke, no hassle. Kicks in within an hour. Lasts 4-6 hrs. Ahhhh

You can sometimes get scammed online when companies claim that they have THC and CBD in their products but once you try them, it is nothing. Go for pure and natural buds I'd suggest.
