Hi friends. I switched off abiraterone due to liver enzyme issues. Have been on apalutamide for about two months and suddenly developed a rash all over my body. I'm told I'll get over it eventually. Right now using a prescription cream. Anyone else get thru this and have input/advice?. Thanks

Yeah they say 25% get it. Not sure how many get over it or how long that takes. Thanks
"Apalutamide-associated skin rash was typically described as macular or maculopapular. Its onset was reported at a median of 82 days of treatment and resolved within a median of 60 days for most (80.6%) patients. Rash covering >30% of body surface area (grade 3) was reported in 5.2% (apalutamide) versus 0.3% (placebo) patients. Management should include treatment with topical corticosteroids, oral antihistamines, systemic corticosteroids, drug interruption, and dose reduction."
Rash
Four (4%) of patients treated with ERLEADA received systemic corticosteroids for treatment of rash. Rash recurred in approximately half of patients who were re-challenged with ERLEADA.
Good Luck, Good Health and Good Humor.
