Vaxchora banned for over those 64 years by Illinois State law

Walgreen's gave me the above information, so I called and wrote to the company [APCER Life Sciences, Inc. on behalf of Emergent Biosolutions, Inc.]. Clearly the lawyers had written their response, which included no helpful information like maybe could a travel agency help, or maybe a nearby state is not so restrictive. Anyone know if Wisconsin or Indiana is less restrictive, or of some other solution? Thank you.

According to the FDA website, it's only approved in the US for ages 18-64, so it wouldn't be available in another state. Apparently it is the only cholera vaccine approved in the US. I seem to recall posts about people going to Canada to obtain Dukoral, another cholera vaccine. Try a search on Dukoral or cholera on this site.

Thank you jmurgia. I am pretty sure some over-64ers on this site have obtained Vaxchora in the US, so I am hoping to prod them into revealing their modus operandi.

Dukoral is sold over the counter in most of the Canadian Provinces. It is the cholera vaccine used in the Swedish study. I had a friend in Detroit cross the border into Windsor and buy it for me, pack with a frozen ice bag and overbite it to me in Missouri, total cost was $180 , $93for Dukoral, $10 tariff, $77 overnite shipping.
