Initial Gleason 8 multiple mets 8years ago. First generic testing 6years after initial treatment confirmed somatic BRCA2 mutation. Second test a year after showed mutation gone.
Treatment still ongoing and working very well.

Indeed! Although the somatic BRCA2 mutation was gone at the second testing, the doctor erred on the side of caution and continued with zytiga and olaparib
I am considering olaparib for my dad too. He just had 3months treatment with ADT +zytiga, his doctor is unwilling to try olaparib as zytiga is still working.
Also BRCA2+. Was on Zytiga/Prednisone for just 6 months when it failed and I went on Olaparib 10 months ago. PSA has been undetectable for past 9 months. Good luck.
