+63 days of hormone eliminating Lupron in my blood. And its working. Great News but! Dec 10th MO 2nd Lupron inj. But, still no plans for CT Abdomen/Pelvis or NM bone scans of ADT 1st line defense treatment. I know Tall_Allen told me that it does not matter if Scans happen Dec 9,10,11 or ? I know I'm just 2/3rds into my 3rd recurrence prostate cancer treatments. But, I "can not get no satisfaction" from my MO or his OCN RN's. My last phone call: 11/6 (13min) went nowhere.
Quest#1 - Do not CT scans w/contrast and NM Bone scans pinpoint tumors, lesions, inflammation spots to be treated?
Question#2 Why are these Scans pinpointing my PCa progression or re-gression still on my mind? Done venting maybe. Answers anybody?

Didn't you just have a PSMA scan? What do you imagine that the bone scan will tell you that the PET scan didn't? You already know the cancer has traveled to many places beyond the treatable area of your pelvic lymph nodes - so, the answer to Q1 is "no" unless you have bone mets that are causing pain. The other reason to have scans is to see if a therapy (like chemo or Zytiga) is still effective. Your cancer is manageable, but not curable by present technology. Q2 is because you do not have control over something going on in your body, and THAT is what is frustrating. I found that psychotherapy helped me.
Facts: yes 68Ga-PSMA-11 done 08/01 that’s 3.5 months ago. Rad report is to the point Tall_Allen. It(rad rpt) told my urologist/oncologist and now Med ONC exactly what they needed to know. Progression. Yes, 3.5 months seems like an eternity, but not or should not be for me or any of us PCa guys typing or reading these words. Yes, my MO assured me next up 68Ga-PSMA-11 PET Scan would be in 5-6 months from my start of ADT. LUPRON.
Sept 10th + 6 months = March 2020.
Not Light Years away. And could be scheduled on my 68th B-day 03/10/2020.
