Has anyone ever had bone cement (Vertebroplasty ) performed for spinal fractures?

Bone cement
I had a procedure call kyphoplasty done last April (shortly after my PCa diagnosis) on my T4 and T9 vertebrae. Tumors from the PCa had caused fractures to the vertebrae. I got the procedure to prevent further fractures. Not sure if this is the same as Vertebroplasty.
It's the same procedure except in your case they used a balloon
type backer first.
What do they use in yr case? Not a balloon?
Oh, ok. Anyway, I also had a good experience, it was a quick procedure and I was out of the hospital in the same day. The pain was reduced, but I still have slight back pain. At least I know the vertebrae are stable.
Yep. I had it done to my L1 vertebrae. Was an easy procedure and really helped with pain. Not 100%, but close.
Thank you.
Oh and was up and waking in an hour or so and doing normal stuff shortly after. Not a big deal and very effective. Hope it works for you.
Following, keep us informed please. Good luck, hope it is as easy and quick as Paul cross 4 mentioned. Had a new hip bone fitted recently after a fall. No pain, walking w cane , but back excersizing, cycling etc.
This is all good to know. Thanks for the post.
