I a clinical trial. It is randomized. We will know if we get it in about a month. I have not found any info on this helping pc and my husband does not have the Brca gene,
He has another gene p53 I think. Not sure if the lyparnza is the best next treatment. Does anyone know about it.

I am not aware that Lynparza works in cancers with the p53 mutation. This complex article has, in Table 1, a list of possible agents which could work in cancers with p53 mutations.
p53 is probably the most common mutation - nothing for it yet. There is hope that PARP inhibitors may work in situations beyond BRCA mutations. It seems that response to carboplatin is prognostic that a PARP inhibitor (as maintenance therapy) may prove useful.
