See the post I put on this morning concerning virus kills cancer

I think this is an up and coming treatment modality with real promise...the ability to induce an immune response targeted at the cancer and with abscopal effect potential/likelihood makes me believe it will be part of the multimodal approach to treating cancer--

Thanks for posting....

Unfortunately, Prostvac and GVAX did not work. One trial of GVAX was terminated due to toxicity.

Some caution:

There was an old guy in UK about 5 years ago who had months to live with Pca, and the docs at Birmingham Hospital ( I think this was the one ) tried having a virus injected but nobody heard anything about results later so I guessed he died.

Had he lived, and others got a benefit, then viral therapy, VT, would now be part of available treatments.

Many things seem like they might work, but just don't, in most cases.

LOL - does the term "cholera vaccination" tell you anything? Cholera is a disease caused by a bacterial organism (Vibrio cholerae). Don't believe me? Check this out:

BTW - I'm well aware of he difference between viruses and bacteria. I hold a graduate degree in microbiology.
