Hello everyone.. I’m just checking in. 9 weeks on lupron/zytiga. Just had 3rd PSA and labs. All labs normal... and PSA from 17.5 to 2.6 to 0.6 and now 0.1!!! We are beyond excited how well I’m responding .. also with exception of libido, no real side effects and down 12 lbs with heavy exercise program and saunas. I read your posts everyday and enjoy the info. Happy Summer to all!! My favorite time of year by far ..

Awesome. Love those numbers. I was asked the other day what my special plans were for the summer. My reply be and feel 15 again. Not a care in the world. Have a great summer.

Good work Db, are saunas part of your treatment or something that you enjoy?

I started saunas about 4 months ago after I read so many good benefits from Infrared Saunas . They detox you and reduce inflammation .. I enjoy all the sweating and feel cleansed afterwards ..Not Dr ordered but do enjoy it and believe in benefits.

Thanks for such a positive report. I had my first MO appointment yesterday and this same treatment was outlined for me. My only concern is the cost. I am on Medicare part D and the co pay can be prohibitive. Can you enlighten me on the cost.

I am blessed with insurance that covers the cost for a year after I paid the first 2500 once ... I thought it was pretty fair for what it costs .. My Mo says if you can’t het it covered he does 6 rounds of chemo which is easier to get covered but with only one met not the preferred treatment.. good luck ...
