Hey gang,

I msgd my primary the attached email to secure an Rx for Metformin and it worked! I don't see my previous MO as my ins changed, so I was rolling the dice on getting it. She also approved my Lipitor Rx. I'm on a week vaykay in Innsbrook MO relaxin. My best to yall and Fight on.

I received a script for metformin from my pcp several months ago but have yet to use it. Being on lupron, Abiraterone/prednisone, and undergoing IMRT I didn’t feel inclined to add another drug into the mix, especially when most of the data on metformin is retrospective with no completed trials as yet. Best of luck to you. Sounds like your doing very well with your treatment. Please keep us posted with any results for metformin.

Hi, I fast from 9pm to 1pm the next day and sip on homemade curry, veggie broth, black coffee, and a cup of green tea. I take 1000mg at 1pm when I break fast and then after my last meal at 9pm. There's a ton of research out on both Metformin and IF (Intermittent Fasting). My best to you
