Which is the better test to measure inflamation--CRP high sensitivity or CRP quantitative. I would have thought the former, only the latter is a little more expensive.

Which C-Reactive Protein test?
"A high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) test, which is more sensitive than a standard test, also can be used to evaluate your risk of developing coronary artery disease, a condition in which the arteries of your heart are narrowed. Coronary artery disease can lead to a heart attack"
Seems to me, that for the general purpose of uncovering an inflammatory state, the cheapest test would suffice.
LEF has their LabCorp test on sale:

The Chemistry Panel & Complete Blood Count (CBC) is cheaper & gives a lot of info.

For inflammation markers there are Neutrophils, Lymphocyte & Albumin (click on the sample report).

Thank you sir. When I was looking for the Galectin test I saw I had gone to LE the last time and saw they now are in their sale period, and they only have the one CRP test, so no more dilemma. In any case you have provided a lot of information, for this and in your other postings, for which I am most grateful.
