You may wish to take a look at these 5 take home messages from LATITUDE and STAMPEDE:

The info Tall Allen listed is from his blog... I prefer to use info from magazines, journals, etc... BTW, Zytiga is generic and no longer costs $9,000 as listed in his blog....
My MO put me on Zytiga, prednisone, and Lupron... I was approved for stereotactic radiation by my insurance based on SABR-COMET trial and an appeal by my RO...Unsure how many mets you have but there are clinical trials in US for individuals with less than 5 mets---see page 4
cancer.gov/about-cancer/tre...
and a SABR-COMET-10 trial for 4-10 lesions....
Feel free to message TWTJr, a retired Radiologist who had 6 mets radiated 6 years ago...a 19 yea veteran of this war... He is a nice guy...
Get a good Medical Oncologist who specializes in prostate cancer....get yourself to a center of excellence--a reputable facility that deals with this--MD Anderson, Mayo, Cleveland Clinic, Johns Hopkins, etc... Get on meds and then make some decisions...
Good luck,
Fish
Hi Larry, my husband has one lesion on the L1 vertebra and retroperitoneal lymph node involvement and his doctors identify his PCa as oligometastatic. You can see details in my profile.
