Hip/Back Pain/Extreme Fatigue - residual from Casodex?

My husband on intermittent Lupron, last injection last July. Took generic for Casodex for 5 weeks, stopped mid-December due to severe pelvic pain (a known SE) and pain gradually went away. (Bone scan & CT - no mets). Before Casodex was borderline diabetic, A1C shot up to 8.9 and blood pressure went high in spite of being on BP meds. (Also known SE of Casodex). Now on Trulicity & higher dose of BP meds. My question is - he had 3 days this week of severe hip pain circling around his back. Could this be from Casodex? It's been over 2 months since he took Casodex. How long does it stay in your system/cause side effects?

Probably not from bicalutamide - it is only weakly bound to the androgen receptor. What does his oncologist say? Is he on Lupron now - does that help with the pain?

His last Lupron injection was 7 months ago in July 2018, elected to take a break from it because of extreme fatigue he had while on it. He says this pain was different, had pain in both hips and across his back. We were just curious as to possibility Bicalutamide might be still in his system and causing this. But, from your answer sounds like it's not likely. Thank you for your reply. Still new here, still learning.

I wouldn't think so.... been on it a long time and no such reaction. See his MO.
