RP 11 months ago. PSA .023 now. Started using FECO in capsules 2X a day. I grew and made the FECO myself from a high thc plant. Everclear, decarboxylated and cut with coconut oil so dosing was manageable. I ingest by rectum as it is the most efficient method and produces no high. Will retest in 3 months and post. This is legal to do here in Ca. I do not like the high other methods impart. Much higher blood levels can be attained this way without sending your brain on an unwanted journey.

I make cannabis oil by similar methodology and did both oral and rectal intake. I liked the suppository application because It didn’t produce any high which allowed me to function with regular daily “housekeeping” activities. I was quite disheartened when i read the following article on THC and suppositories. See extractcrafter.com/2017/05/...

Good job.. that turbo machine is bad ass. Thanks for the info.. keep healing self...

in reply tock722

suppositories are best .. 25% effect orally , 75% with a suppository... and fo4 5hose ths5 don’t like or can’t tolerate the thick high , you’re correct. You don’t get high with the suppository.., I still have a prostate . Up the butt is pretty close to the it. Heal yourself ..

I have used cannabis oil to control dull thudding back pain (mostly lower spine). It worked well for that but not so for sharp pain. I usually used about 5 drops placed under my tongue. However, be aware this can cause severe mood swings .. from dark depression to ectasy within the same minute. Quite unnerving.

in reply toIan2017

Ecstasy sounds good , dark depression not good. Might be the strain or dosing .. take care..

Yep, be careful on dosing. One or two drops over what suits one and it really knocks you. It's not a nice feeling.

I know that’s true brother. Takes a little trial and error.

This sums Up APC in a nutshell..” The pain is just not physically upsetting” men haven’t had their hormones stripped before. Most men , including myself, do not function well without the “T” ....Women know the force of nature called hormones. This “T” was the source of vitality and strength for us guys. Know they tell me , it will kill me. So , the goal is casrtation .. that wasn’t in the brochure.. not all female attributes are bad for us men . Compassion and caring might increase . I now cry when I see any suffering ..or injustice .. Let’s face it , the entire world is in turmoil .. I try not to watch violence on tv. In many ways APC causes all of us to reflect . Hope you can pull him out of the pain zone.. my heart goes out to anyone in brutal pain. Pain is so stressful . Stress promotes APC .. I ve experienced steroid like rage from lack of “T” . Some of us might have had a cool and collect nature before PC . Not me. I’ve always been high strung.. Together you both can enjoy each other’s love and take time to smell the flowers along the way. That’s almost impossible while in dire pain . Peace to you both

Small detail. CBD not used to control PC as your title suggests. It is used to control pain, perhaps reducing stress.

I do not have major pain yet but not averse to using it as noted in other’s posts here.

I am an MD and live in Colorado. I remain opposed to the flagrant abuse in the Recreational side but support true Medical use, especially for cancer.

Hope for continued good results.

I am using cannabis to try to bring the PSA down. If it works, great. If not nothing harmed. In three months I / we will know. I notice only a slight "body high" that is hard to describe but I can feel it. No "marijuana high" at all, none. I start to feel it in 10 minutes so absorption is excellent. We shall see...

I agree with Den Doc. Also, I would seek regular medical treatment but use cannabis to complement the treatment. I consider myself to be in the "Golden Zone" at this moment in time. I have time to experiment. It works for some but for others it might not be effective at all. Kinda iffy, so Regular medicine, then alternative-unless you have time.

Some may disagree, but let's agree to disagree.

At Gleason 8, and lots of big lumps I had no time. Mets might happen so at that point I was clearly not in the "Golden Zone". So I had an RP. I know, this cancer is somewhat slow but I wanted that bag of cancer out of me before things got out of control. No the Docs did not pressure me either. Actually both RP or radiation and hormone therapy were offered. Very glad I got the RP. Fully continent and functional too...

My Pc metastasized a little over two years, Mets in my spine, skull and scapula. Too this day they have not manifested as pain. Dx six years ago and the only symptoms I’ve had are from treatments.

Have you considered cannabis?

There is much to learn about medi-cannabis (m-c).

I have used it for about 8 months and have come to a few conclusions.

1) It will not cure your cancer - contrary to many claims that it might

2) It MAY be effective in slowing or halting some types of PCa progression because

of the way it disrupts tumorous blood supplies from setting up shop

3) It works to reduce chronic pain, but sharp pain is not going to respond all that well.

4) It should help with insomnia

5) It might mess up your moods

6) A BIT of THC with larger CBD doses makes both work better.

7) HELPS fight inflammation.

You might want to try to do some THCa cold extraction(s) with alcohol.

THCa (and CBDa) are the natural forms of medicine (along with a lot of other

more minor compounds) that are available in the RAW plant.

THC and CBD result when HEAT is applied to the plant.

Like smoking or cooking brownies etc ...

IF you can extract the 'raw', you can still get benefits without impairment.

You can use 151 rum if everclear (or alcool) is not available.

Check out YouTube.

I predict a LOT of R & D in the THCa area.

Big Pharma is already investing .....

I started eating leaves , about 10- 2X a day until the buds came on. Then I was eating 1 small bud 2X a day until harvest. The leaves go down hill fast at budding. Finally I harvested the plants, dried them in a ventilated shed and canned them in mason jars and evacuated the air out. I still eat a small piece of dried bud occasionally but am now doing the decarboxylated FECO rectally thing now. Taking it orally leaves me high for more than 24 hours. That sucks as I don't like the "high". Has it helped? Maybe. My next PSA will tell. I enjoy eating the leaves. After a while, they taste good. A learned flavor. The buds are not so fun, especially when dry. Raw plant=no high. None at all. No form really changed my mood except THC orally. Yes, this plant has a lot of valid medicinal uses. It is best to grow your own plants as you will know what is in and on them. Strictly organic here, manure from my organic chickens.

By the way I bagged up several gallon zip locks of leaves for eating later. Big mistake. Everything in the freezer was tainted with strong cannabis fragrance Including some goat cheese I made in 1/2 pint canning jars tightly sealed. Amazing how the odor passes through plastic like a sieve.

Bring on the research.
