Does anyone have information about this drug being used in the metastatic setting? I can only find information about it preventing bone mets. However, my husband was told it would be used next if Xtandi isn’t working. He has bone mets.

It is in clinical trials for that purpose. Perhaps your doctor is suggesting a trial for your husband. It is available "off label" but most insurance will not approve its use for anything but the approved indication: non-metastatic castration-resistant PC.
