Has anyone undergone Provenge therapy? any success? side effects?

I’ve done Provenge. I believe it helped a great deal, but there’s really no way to prove that in an individual. My side effects were minimal—really just limited to calcium depletion during collection. That is treated immediately. Do you have particular concerns?
nothing really in particular except I don't really know anything about the process

Their website does a decent job discussing the process (provenge.com). I was fascinated by all the behind-the-scenes coordination. I went straight to Zytiga after Provenge and had a good run.
I've discussed Provenge with my MO, who say it absolutely helps some of their patients, but not everyone. As YostConner noted, it's hard to prove in an individual case. There is some evidence that while Provenge and other immunotherapies may not drop markers like PSA, they nevertheless help increase lifespan.
My husband just finished his Provenge treatments on April 12th. He didn’t have any side effects fortunately. Be sure to drink plenty of water before the collections because my husbands veins were giving them problems because of dehydration. Good luck with your treatments.
I've done Provenge. I'd do it again. Perhaps earlier rather than later.
There have been several earlier related discussion threads here that you might want to review:

I had the Provenge treatment for nodules of the lungs and shoulder. No side effects and the treatment worked. The worst part was the tube sticking out of my chest. I was so happy when that was removed.
