Lupine side effects?

I started on Lupron February 15. I have noticed in the last week or so that when I work out at the gym I barely sweat. Is this a possible side effect? I normally sweat copious amounts. I did have night sweats at first but not anymore. Anyone else experience this?

Nalakrats practices what he preaches .....7 weeks without a shower....first his wife and daughter left...then 3 days ago all the rats left from the stench said to be worse than an open cess pool....see last known pic of nalakrats below

Very photogenic .He just gets better looking with time. Like a fine wine. I take a shower once a week whether I need it or not.

Welcome to the club ! No nightsweats ? Count your blessings. They are the worst for me. The hot flashes you can get used to .These are the least of adt side effects. Fatigue , depression , muscle , bone lose cognitive fog , lose of strength and stamina , balance,,osteoporosis, cardiovascular disease, these are the big problems of ADT. I’m on this train until the end. Side effects are all just part of the scenery. Good luck. Have you lost your underarm hair? My skin is soft like a women’s and I’ve never been very hairy but now I’m practically smooth .All part of the fun. Good luck!

LuLu: I was doing fine on intermittent Lupron/Casodex/Avodart for 15 yrs --until I had a heart attack? while playing racquetball. Now, 9 months after triple bypass I still have no energy, no wind, no stamina and everything hurts. Lupron? Lipitor? Old age? Bone mets? Arthritis? drugs? Too complicated to determine!! I was happier with my PCa ONLY!!

Family history of heart disease? I’m feeling better this year. But the few previously I felt like I’d been steamrolled. I do have much happiness in my home life. Damaged a bit by 3yrs of acting out badly.. that’s starting to Wayne. . I’m lucky as you said just with the pc. But my system , once seamily strong now in full geriatric mode. I’m chipping back some strength when I exersize and don’t hurt myself. I’m basically fragile like a women. A big pussy.. oh well I’m alive I have love and a roof over our heads. God bless you , on this tuff road. Character of strength can’t be eaten up by Pc.. everything else will sooner or later be munched if we live long enough. Glad you survived that attack and surgery.

Me too,, that’s gone.. I was never a hairy dude .now my body is smooth as a baby, feminine and soft.. oh well? Done deal , we keep moving if we’re so lucky. Every day I’m not in brutal pain or a day without Dr visits are good days. Enjoy what we can now , because ain’t no guarantee implied for any of us... Same here. Minimal sweating, and don’t develop B.O. probably the only positive side effects of ADT. Like the others here I have had most of the other annoying side effects. It is the “new reality” for those of us on Lupron and/or bicalutamide. Oddly, you get used to things like the hot flashes, and over time they aren’t so intense. My wife tells me, “welcome to my world.” 😎

Women know about it..Mine is pre-menopausal so with her pre and me full on menapause for life, we ‘ve had our moments.. Currently improving rapidly. Maybe now a honeymoon never seen . We wed after Dx so yah “ What a honeymoon” she’s had . I have some ground to make up with her. 1st yr she couldn’t come near men due to,tubes and bags, 1st time either of us had been married at 50 yrs old. When the preacher said sickness or health til death do you part it hit home for they gave me 50/50 chance. I’m blessed to be walking this earth. Although life is far from perfect. Who are we to expect perfection ? Hope life besides pc is good for you.

With Lupron I gained weight, had hot flashes and....worst of all...seemed to like going shopping with my wife....she wants me to go back on it...

Same here with Trelstar. Almost no body hair left, no underarm hair or body odor. My wife didn't believe it until she finally sniffed my underarm on evening and a fast, hot walk. She looked at me with a quizzical look and shook her head and said "nothing!". Lots of scaly skin though.

Well I use a men's deodorant called Vanish... it makes me disappear and then everyone wonders where the stink is coming from.

I m a desert dweller also.I choose not to put any chemicals on my body. Try Dr Bonner’s soap . It’s fantadtic..

Humor is good here, it's such a grim topic.

Humor aside, no sweating may be a side effect for you, but not for everyone. I've been on Lupron for a bit less than a year, and started regular workouts at the gym in an attempt to minimize the loss of muscle and gain of fat. Getting me off my ass and into the gym may be the only good thing this poison has to offer me.

I sweat buckets during my workouts. That may be just me, but Lupron and castrate-level testosterone didn't stop me from sweating.

I still sweat profusely in good cardio. Dr obvious says “ Not sweating , not good.” Sweating is good and releases toxins. If somebody doesn’t sweat at all, I’d get in a good infared sauna, then that sweat will come...
