Thank you for sharing. I don't understand much of what he is saying with regard to DNA repair and cell mutation and all that. But it sounds to me like there is hope that once we know what makes the prostate cancer cells so disfunctional and ever-dividing we could change the DNA back to normal...

Good Morning dale339,

Thanks for posting. Dr. Myers has kept me alive past my expiration date for 5 years and I was heartbroken when he retired.

He found that my cancer had an ATM defect via Guardant360 liquid biopsy and he prescribed the PARP inhibitor Lynparza. It worked for me for about 9 months. No complete durable remission for me as I just completed 6 cycles of chemo. He is a national treasure!

Best wishes. Never Give In.

Mark, Atlanta

I second that thought. He is a Magic Man! My beau was predicted to last til 2012 and

he is still going strong due to Dr. Myers. I feel lost and fearful without Dr. Myers caring for my beau. I asked Dr. Myers if there was another doctor like him....he said no. No one else has the deep knowledge of prostate cancer, the supplements that help, and the prescriptions that help or hinder prostate cancer. Doctor also watched out for other conditions that existed in the patient and gave advice there. He is just OUTSDTANDING, and I miss him and our visits from Philadelphia to his office in Virginia.

I saw somewhere that Dr Myers thought highly of Dr. Emmanuel Antonarakis at Johns Hopkins so I am going to try and see him.

He also highly recommends dr Charles Drake at Columbia, formerly at JHU.
