Seroquel

My Dr put me on Seroquel for anxiety and lack of motivation. But after reading the side effects and reading the indications ( I am not schizophrenic, or psychotic, or bipolar) , I am wondering why he chose this. Has anyone used this med. and what was your experience.?

Before my ADD diagnoses my Dr put me on Seroquel for anxiety. She explained that the doses for bipolar, etc were 5 or 6 times what I was taking. It helped me sleep for about 6-9 months but after other treatment and finally correct diagnoses I was taken off of it.

Why did dr take you off of it, if it was working? And what are you on now? Was anxiety your only need for meds?

I was diagnosed with ADD and taken off several meds. Went from 6 to 2 and am doing 100% better this last year +

I didn't know my entire life that I was being misdiagnosed because of my ADD

I wasn't on any meds. Yes , anxiety was my worst problem. I was diagnosed about 4 months ago.

that is def a strong antipsychotic. Why? Anti anxiety medication is easiky avail and works. Check your vitamin B, D levels and take Omega 3. Try Saffron to avoid waiting to be treated properly. And get some gummy worms to relax. Sorry. I would not take an antipsychotic medication for that ADHD anxiety. Christ. Who the fuck gave it to ya? Psychiatrist?

I'd like more info on gummy worms. Is that the name brand? How much cannibis to CBT?Yes, it was a psychiatrist. He gave me 25mg/day. He first gave me Ritalin but I couldn't tolerate the stimulant. What does Saffron do? Thanx.
