Hello, I'm "Rock n' Roll Falcon". I was diagnosed with ADHD several years ago. I have the inattentive type of ADHD and may also have SCT. I currently manage my symptoms with daily medication, but I'm always looking for other skills and strategies to improve my lack of executive functioning.
I've been successful in my academic and professional career in my 20s. I started to have problems in my 30s and felt my symptoms were keeping me from making the strides I saw others around me making. Now in my early 40s, I am eager to make the most of the second half of my career.
So, I'm a "computer" guy and "education" guy with a lot of creativity. I'm working from home during this pandemic and spend a lot of time on Zoom calls. There are pros and cons to working from home for an ADHD brain. I am seeing the benefits of keeping an organized work calendar to schedule my meetings and tasks. On that note, I am really interested in finding an accountability partner in this community who would be interested in meeting throughout the week to help each other stay on task.
Thanks!
