I've been carrying around a spiral binder everywhere I go. It's not so much a journal as it is a "life notes". I use it for my PhD research, little notes to myself, random inspiring thoughts, definitions I read on wikipedia and want to remember, etc...

I feel like having a notebook has been really helpful, even if I don't often browse the content.

What types of things do you write in your notebook? Is it used more as a daily journal/diary, for memories, or do you use it for random notes/reminders?

I don’t know how to write notes, I’ve tried but I too find it helpful to write it. I have a 3 ring binder I and a page A day to for journaling. Started 5 days. Always try to have a journal but end up tearing pages out. The 6ring I’m trying to practice to use as a bullet journal. Future months log month log daily log, how to ADHD utube video showed me a intro of how to. It’s new for me and still learning. I’m told it’s better to have one spot where you enter info but I’ve couldn’t stick to one still. I use my iPhone calendar and now 6rinf
