I posted a thread called “Vayarin No Longer Available in US” that has kinda blown up. People have given various suggestions on replacements for Vayarin. We went with Accentrate, but it can take 90 days for any medication to show full results, so we’re still hoping it will work.

I would look at the reason it was discontinued before taking a substitute. I’m working at a pharma company for 25 years it may have been pulled for a safety reason.

I wrote to the company, and they said they were getting away from direct to consumer sales and going to more of a supplier position.

It was pulled because of a Securities reason. Vaya's parent company, Enzymotec was said to have misled its shareholders on future gains. They settled ro $6.5M but who knows how much they lost in legal fees.

We used Vayarin for 2 years and never noticed any difference on or off. But every child is different

We have been using Krill Oil (fish oil containing high levels of DHA and omega fatty 3 acids) with similar results to Vayarin.
