My son does it at school when he gets into an altercation and he's not being heard

My son is quite the flight risk. He has tried to leave school at least 3 times that I know of. His has to do with anxiety. The last time he tried, they sat him down to draw a map how to get home. That seemed to click with him he didnt know where he was going

When my son was in kindergarten he did this. His was more anxiety-driven at that time than ADHD. There wasn't anything I could do... and he was super young. Just let the school know your concerns, and hopefully you can trust your school. My son ran off a few times, but each time a teacher or EA followed him and caught up with him. Good luck.

Yeah. My 8 yr old took off and was headed 2000 miles to grandmas house in his pjs lol. He got one block. Came back with cops and made allegations. None sense of coarse and all dismissed. That was for taking away holloween after two weeks of bad class behavior.

If you know he’s doing it probably a good idea to have door chimes, alarm system, bells to deter him. We were required to do this
