Does anyone have any game or activity recommendations for my 8-year-old and I to enjoy that can help ease hyperactivity?

Are there any particular games that are more soothing than others or just any in general? What about actual gameboards?

Gameboards might help as long as they don't get repetitive and boring and it is something that that will enjoy

Thank you, I was thinking about purchasing games that are somewhat strategic to help with concentration.

Physical activity is key for my 10 year old. We are an electronics free home.

My son uses his trampoline when he gets really really excited. We set it up in the house, and he just goes out there and bounces until he's spent.

It is. It's just one of those little bitty kid-sized trampolines because he's five. Not one of those large trampolines people have in the back yard.

My nine-year-old I just found out he have ADHD and one of the things he loves is age-appropriate video games on the Xbox he also love games with cars he said he wants to be A race car driver one thing I do with all my kids I allow them to earn things Monday through Friday no TV and no video games all school work and homework must be done in order to earn those things, and my son is very determined so once he know that he have to do something to earn something he will stick with the plan you don't ever have any meltdowns,or behavior issues in or out of school The only issue that I have is with his schoolwork and focusing in school so I myself was trying to understand ADHD

One thing I do with my son while doing homework because it can get frustrating for him to concentrate for so long is after a certain amount of time I tell him lets take a break to get the sillies out then I put a minute and 30 seconds on my phone timer and we do silly dance moves then he is able to get back on track! It is fun and you get a good laugh.

I would guess, emphasis on guess, that your son has ADHD Inattentive rather than ADHD impulsive or ADHD combined ( inattentive and impulsive ). My son has ADHD impulsive.
