A10 Poll about Badges: Do we want to start using badges (again), and if yes, which ones. Any others, list them by reply.

Feel invited to chip in with ideas for which badges would be motivating and practical. We can award only one badge at the time, so these will need to be different from the NHS A10 App. Any thoughts or ideas, add them by reply.

We would have a post with definitions, e.g. as per the following:

★ Walked 1000mile year : if you have completed the #Walk1000mile challenge or walk more than 1000 miles per year

★ Walked 42k/21k/10k/5k/2k/1k : If you have completed at least once one of the distances given on one continuous walk. Each distance is one badge, e.g. “Walked 10k”

★ A10min a day / A20min a day / A30min a day / A60min a day / A90min a day / A120min a day : If you regularly (at least 3 times per week) briskly walk the amount of minutes, as measured by our A10 app, defined as “Minutes of Brisk Walking” or “x times Active 10”. Each duration is one badge, e.g. “A20min a day”

huh! I think one of the options should have been, as in the explainer:

Choice of brisk minutes walked 3 times a week: A10min a day / A20min a day / A30min a day / A60min a day / A90min a day / A120min a day

(Apologies, for late correction)

So we would have one set of badges that are one-off distance based, and another set of badges that is 3 times per week a time based distance.
