Hello, just an intro. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2011. I am under active surveillance and use Alfusosin. My psa goes up and down each 6 month period. So far quite good, last test was November 20 and psa was 3.6.

Best of luck and continued good health. I’m on a QoL vacation and numbers have been good / behaving so far. However, the stress of every 6mo test is something else though. Waiting for the other shoe to drop really sucks!! Meanwhile.... I take it!!!

Keep it up!!!

I've recently joined the stress club. May 2020 - See a Urologist. Sept. 2020, 12 - needle. Feb 21, MRI biopsy. March 21, MRI and Ultrasound needle biopsy with the MRI images over the Ultrasound on a screen. "Yeah you have it". No kidding. Luckily, very, very small. Yesterday PSA # 5.5. MRI again Feb 22.

Seeing the dentist today. Last 2 weeks my jaw is killing me. Have worn an acrlyic night guard for years for teeth grinding. I'm wondering if the anticipation is a contributing factor.

Funny thing, had a colonoscopy 6 weeks ago. That freaked me out more than this on a

Conscious level than this. Father had prostate cancer and did radiation, his #s crept back up into the 6es by the time he got dementia in his late 70s. Mother died from colon cancer at 93.

Going on 4 years on AS and really 5 years since my first abnormal PSA. I get checked every 3 months and my PSA goes up and down also. My uro's call my PSA "dynamic"!
