Hello All,

Just got my final pathology report after RALRP on 11-21-19. Below are the highlights. More details to come about my continence and ED side effects post-surgery.

1: right bundle margin

2: right pelvic lymph node

3: left pelvic lymph node

4: prostate and seminal vesicles

Final diagnosis:

1: Right bundle margin, biopsy:

No tumor seen.

2: Right pelvic lymph nodes, excision:

No tumor seen in two lymph nodes (0/2)

3: Left pelvic lymph nodes, excision:

No tumor seen in three lymph nodes (0/3)

4: Prostate and seminal vesicles, radical prostatectomy:

Prostatic adenocarcinoma, Gleeson’s score 7 (3+4) (Grade Group 2).

-Carcinoma involves the right and left lobes.

-Extraprostatic extension is not identified.

- Lymphovascular invasion is not identified.

Synoptic report:

Procedure: Radical Prostatectomy

Tumor

Histological type: Acinar adenocarcinoma

Histological grade group and Gleeson score:

-Grade group 2

-Gleeson score 3+4 =7

Percentage of pattern: 10%

Extraprostatic extension: not identified

Urinary bladder neck: not identified

Treatment effect: no known pre-surgical therapy

Margins: uninvolved by invasive carcinoma

Lymph nodes involved: 0

Lymph nodes examined: 5

Pathological stage classification: (pTNM, AJCC 8th edition)

Primary tumor: pT2

Regional lymph nodes: pN0
