New pain med

My Dr is trying to get insurance to pay for Nucynta. Has anyone heard of this or taking it? I am in US Thanks

Thanks for ur reply. I am unable to get financial help for Nucynta. I have drug insurance but it won't allow Nucynta and because I have drug insurance I can not use the help from the Nucynta co. My Dr won't let me have any other narcotic. Sooo the pain goes on.....

Really sorry, it's awful to have to suffer. Your doctor should go to bat for you with the insurance company. Aggravating.

It's now December and still can not get Nucynta Er. However, after trying all non opioids meds for almost two years my GP has finally let me have 3 vicodin 7.5/325 a day. Feel so much better and get have a better quality of life. Can even enjoy my grandchildren. I just can not understand why I had to suffer for almost 3 years. I had been on vicodin for about 10 years and then my previous GP stopped me from having any at all. I am just grateful for what I have now. I only pray that USA doesn't ban opioids.
