PSA jump after 2weeks post-RALP - does this indicate CRPC?
Hi all. This situation is a bit abnormal, but wanted to gather some thoughts. My father was DX'ed last September with Gleason 4+4, tertiary 5. He had his RALP + PLND 2 weeks ago. Pathology showed ECE+, PNI+, SVI+, LVI-, 2/16 small LN mets (unfortunately, poorer than what imaging showed), and close PSM

Start of 36 mo of ADT?
I started on 36 months of ADT in Feb 2020 (Neoadjuvant) followed by 44 sessions of IMRT from May 2020 to July 2020 with Continuous ADT from Feb to now. When does the 36 months start from? From the first injection in Feb or from the finish of IMRT in July. I’ve found conflicting answers on line.

Resistance bands for weight bearing exercise
Anyone using resistance bands in lieu of weights for weight bearing exercise? If so which kind? Any links to YouTube for training programs to prevent ADT muscle waste would be helpful. Thanks

Metastasized prostate cancer found in my lymph system after 8 years. Sneaky crap is NOT going to win!
Finished 45 radiation treatments, followed by hormone therapy for stage 4 prostate cancer, ending in February 2012. Was diagnosed with metastasized stage 4 in my lymph glands on November 29, 2021. Refusing chemo. Accepting Hormone shots and holding off on Xtandi for now. (Net monthly cost is well over

ADT Vacation - Update 3
Well, I finally had my PSMA scan this week and met with my MO. The scan showed a small met on my pelvic bone very near to the met or a part of the met that was previously radiated but possibly outside the radiation field. Besides that I’m clear. Pending a consultation with my RO we are thinking/hoping

Overview of ADT.
A nice overview from the government. For many of us not a lot new here but speaking for myself, I would have learned a lot very rapidly if I had read this 4 years ago (right after diagnosis). Hormone Therapy for Prostate Cancer Fact Sheet - NCI https://www.cancer.gov/types/prostate/prostate-hormone-therapy-fact-sheet

Why I Choose an Unproven Treatment
It is a rainy stormy day in Perth, Western Australia, called the "most remote city in the world". I arrived here yesterday with more than 30 hours of travel from Oregon USA. Tomorrow I will get my first infusion of Lutetium 177-PSMA (mAb)-J591. An experimental and unproven new form of radioactive ligand

We have reached castrate resistance...what to do next?
I have been following this forum for a couple of years now, and have learned so much from all of you. But this is my first time to post...I knew this time would eventually come, but somehow it still caught me off guard. Dad is now 75; he was diagnosed with stage IV metastatic prostate cancer December

30 months with PCA - experiences with ADT, Docetaxel, Xtandi / Nubeqa, Provenge and experimental immunotherapy trial.
Hi, I posted for the first time on this forum after my father (59) was diagnosed with stage IV prostate cancer in November of 2019. I want to share our progress in this fight so far so that it can be added to the repository and used by others down the line to make informed decisions about treatment

Orgovyx and estradiol?
Howdy all, been following some discussions here about using estradiol patches with ADT and I was wondering if anyone is using estradiol with Orgovyx. I've been on Orgovyx for over 7 months now and my PSA has been undetectable so far and I feel I'm tolerating it well. See my profile for my full treatment

Rank Neutraceuticals / Off-Label Drugs By Most Likely Most Beneficial
I'm curious about the opinions of members here on how they would currently rank Neutraceutical and off-label use drugs in order of highest benefit potential (most confirming clinical trial evidence combined with actual therapeutic or synergistic therapeutic effect) in slowing/stopping PCa progression

Time for action?
Hi It’s been 4 years since my last contact with this site (though I view it daily). Over that time my PSA has been slowly, but surely, edging up. My history in brief is dx Dec2013 with PSA 5.1 G9Tb3 PNI ECE. Had 78gy of radiation therapy early in 2014 and 3 years on Lupron (finished Feb/2017). No

Intermittent secondary ADT
I'm currently taking Xtandi while waiting to start a CAR-T trial. Due to the way scheduling is working out, I'm starting and stopping Xtandi three times. It occurs to me that this might have a benefit similar to Bipolar Androgen Therapy, where it might delay resistance to Xtandi and kill more of the

Does this sound like NePCA?
Last ct scan was 6 months ago it was clear but psa was on the rise. Over the next few months psa rose to 7.2 and then back to 6.6 6 weeks ago. My father recently had a pace maker fitted and chest X-ray revealed a couple of spots. Was sent for ct scan getting results this week. Hx diagnosed 2018 with

PSADT is 6 months
My PSA increased from 0.19 to 0.3 in just 6 weeks. My MO is scheduling a PSMA pet to see if the cancer is localized or metastatic. I will most likely start ADT or ADT+. Recommendation are welcomed.

When should ADT be given with SBRT?, Some SBRT news, looking at Radiosensitizers in Prostate Cancer treatment
Greetings FPC folk, It has been months since my last post, and I thought I would post something near to my situation and pick your brains on the issues... I am nearing the end of my 20 month vacation as my PSA has risen to about 0.7 now, and I had a Pylarify scan showing one lesion so I remain oligometastatic

Current Consensus on Metformin and Berberine?
I've been studying Metformin (not Berberine, yet). My conclusion reading all the latest studies, especially the large meta-studies, is that evidence is weak on Metformin having a significant positive effect BY ITSELF. There appears to be significant evidence it has a positive effect when used synergistically

Can Testosterone go down during ADT break?
Some one in a posting in Facebook mentioned that during ADT break his PSA is going up, but his testosterone is going down. Can this really happen? In my case First break 2/26/20 to 8/28/20 6 month point T=114, PSA: 0.14 9 month point T = 147, PSA: 0.45 Second break 6/2/21 - 6 month point T=28, PSA
