It's been a long time...
I had a nasty gall bladder infection last April, resulting in
surgery
and five days in the hospital. I also got pneumonia. It all just sent my MS into hyperactivity and it's been a downhill slide since then.

Ruptured Aorta Recovery
After approximately 1 week the operation developed a leak from the aorta and was readmitted to hospital and underwent keyhole
surgery
to repair the leak. I felt very much better after the operation than i did from the previous op.

GOOD SUNDAY MORNING GANG 🙏👍🏼
Rozy had
surgery
about ten days ago for lipomas. One on her side was two pounds 😱 she had eight total removed that added up to about 4 pounds total. The big one yesterday decided to fill up and burst braking out staples. Oh boy, what a mess for this one arm bandit.

Advice re private GP
Would I be able to use my current GP
surgery
for any other issues if necessary? I'm not sure I could finance this long term as I'm semi retired now.

Paresthesia I think
Prior to being diagnosed, I had ortho care to include carpal tunnel
surgery
on both median and ulnar with no effect cuz it's PD of course. When my C/L is on board the symptoms decrease significantly but never is completely gone and the left finger is the first sign of meds getting low.

Secretary Austin recovered uneventfully from his
surgery
and returned home the next morning. His prostate cancer was detected early, and his prognosis is excellent,” the statement read.

Advice on lump
Also had the
surgery
to remove goiter. I went to the doctors, with this lump, also one mirgraine after another, went to the doctors, saw the nurse the first time, showed her the lump, which is level with collar bone, middle of it.

Just had hysterectomy due to prolapsed bladder and think it's come back due to severe constipation.
Does this mean I have to have
surgery
again? I have also ran out of ndt again for about the fifth time due to it being so expensive and my tsh was really high about 6.5 when I had blood test for my pre op. It was also high the previous time as I had ran out then as well.

Sodium cromoglicate - GP won't supply any more
Now, my GP
surgery
tell me the locum who originally prescribed it should never have done so because it is too expensive and they are withdrawing my prescription. I could scream. I can't afford to go back to a private consultant to get a private prescription. Has anyone got any suggestions?

Anti-reflux surgery
I would be interested to know of peoples experience with anti-reflux
surgery
, such as partial or full fundoplication, LINX or stretta. Was it worth it? What is life like after the
surgery
? Any disadvantages? With thanks for your replies.

PSA Test less than four weeks post surgery
Urologist previously said he would wait for PSA because too close to
surgery
would be unreliable due to effects of
surgery
. Maybe this was done to justify PSMA PET scan for insurance reasons? Anyone with a quick PSA test post
surgery
showing elevated PSA that fell in the next few weeks/months?

VETEBRAL PLASTY SURGERY FINALLY SCHED FOR NEXT WEEK
Vetebral
surgery
scheduled for Sept. 21.
PMRPRo,
can you please tell me about hydrocortisone cover (during
surgery
) and doubling up on regular Pred for a couple of days afterward? This, so I can sound intelligent when the Nurse calls. Lol. It is a local anesthetic, not being put to sleep.

Speechless by my GP’s response
I messaged my GP
surgery
and requested a full thyroid blood test (not just TSH which is all I’ve been able to get since COVID) as well as iron, vits B and D tests. I’ve been feeling really rotten, and want to look at every potential reason.

No Cominarty Vaccine!!
The Spring booster being offered in my area seems to be Spikevax and despite contacting every pharmacy within a 15ml radius, contacting my own GP
surgery
and speaking to the NHS Covid helpline,
no one
seems able to help me.

When you don’t feel like it… but you do it anyway… and it’s good 👍🏻
He raced off ahead for the final few minutes and I managed to put in a 6:10m/km pace for the last 250 metres, which is reminiscent of the pre-knee
surgery
best 5k pace! So all in all, a really good run. We showed grit! 🥳
