I want to cancel the

Retuximab and jabs
I'm due the first shingrix vaccine this week at GP
surgery
and was considering having the flu vaccine at the same time while I'm there. Its too late to ring my rheumatology helpline so I'm wondering if anyone on retuximab has had two jabs the same day, different arms. Thanks.

Dental Issues on Finesteride
I received full gland HIFU ablation
surgery
in 2016. I received a 6 month eligard shot months before that. Since then I have been off ADT. Oh, I had a pylarify scan Sept '23. It came back clear. I'll keep having my PSA monitored every 3 months.

Complex ovarian cyst surgery
Now as I’ve entered menopause last year, I really think that
surgery
is my best option. I don’t have a family history of breast or ovarian cancer, but there were other cancers on my father’s side. Did anyone here have a more complicared health history with major
surgery
?

FET #1
Hi everyone,I'm currently 2dp5dt, my first FET after a failed fresh cycle in 2019, we discovered I had hydrosalpinx in both tubes and I had
surgery
to remove both tubes and gave myself plenty of recovery and saving time!

Trimbow
So been on Trimble for a few months, prescribed by my Nurse at the G.P.
surgery
. Constant sore throat and hoarse voice. She is reluctant to take me off it (don't know why). How she wants me to use a spacer thing. Will try that.

Last week I underwent eye
surgery
to remove a cataract from both eyes. The
surgery
went well, though it is obviously a stressful situation as anyone can imagine, including the aftercare with lots of eye drops throughout the day.

Sternum wire removal
Have to go in the night before even though its a 15 minute
surgery
with local anaesthetic and sedative. Also might have to stay in a second night as they're not taking me off my blood thinners or anti platelets. Feeling anxious and its nothing compared to what I've been thru this last year.

I just don’t know how much more I can take
I’ve had the
surgery
to do excision and I’ve bled non stop since. Yesterday I thought I was finally stopping and today while out with my family I lost a blood clot that almost resembled the size of a fist. The pain and nausea alone is enough to make someone cry. I just don’t know how to cope.

dad has advanced prostate cancer
She even spoke about
surgery
for his collar bone but I think that’s crazy! To put him through that and the bones are so brittle. I tell her he needs stronger meds for pain. I tell her maybe hospice but she doesn’t want to lose him going to his doctors and radiation.

hard time but manageable thanks to all you!
I had
surgery
yesterday It hurts bad but the morphine helps 😂. Doesn’t take all the pain away but definitely makes it more bearable Have I learned my lesson? Probably not 😂. The hospital and staff have been absolutely amazing. I’m going to miss them when I finally go home.

Zoladex delay
Also - I wanted to ask the consultant whether it’s unhelpful to suppress and decrease deposits with Zoladex before
surgery
(where I want him to clear it out!) and don’t want a
surgery
date to be delayed further by me taking an unnecessary Zoladex. Sorry long post.

I wonder if anyone can help with this. Sorry for bothering you.
I don't understand why it would change just because of the
surgery
. Be very grateful for any information that helps explain it. Many thanks. N.

I'm scared.
Could it be inflammation from
surgery
and stress? Are 2 lesions enough to diagnose? All other bloods are also clear. Is.ms chronic dizziness? I felt like this with vestibular migraine, I'm so scared. Any one for some advice? Hugs from Australia 🇦🇺

I had unrelated knee
surgery
the other day. Discussed my PV with the anesthesiologist & he was surprised to hear I never had this test. He said it looks at the function of the platelets. I've never heard anyone mention this test before.

SOS From Across The Pond
My objective is to be able to have a specialized spine orthopedic or neuro surgeon perform corrective
surgery
on my now deformed/kyphotic thoracic. No surgeon I’ve consulted with will touch me due to my bone fragility.

In October I had
surgery
to remove 2 large cysts in both of my ovaries and endometriosis/ adhesions in my pelvis. The dr then wanted to put me on the contraceptive pill to stop the pain I was getting with my period from the endometriosis.

MRI for Endometriosis - MRI machine process
To lightened the mood I said 'unless someone left something inside me during my recent
surgery
...' They neither confirmed nor denied if it could of been this but guess if I do have a lost object something will show on the MRI images when I visit my consultant in a couple of weeks.
