Synthetic mytral valve
My concern is not so much getting back to fitness after
surgery
but more how much warfarin really affects day to day life. Also I was wondering, are there still no other alternatives to taking warfarin when one has a synthetic mytral valve?

Pain still there over 5 weeks post excision surgery
People that have had excision
surgery
. How long after the
surgery
did you still have daily pelvic pain? I'm nearly 5 weeks post
surgery
and still getting daily pelvic pain. Would of thought this pain would have gone by now?

EOD on the NHS?
This is a busy
surgery
in a large town and I know they give a lot of B12 injections, but it makes it very clear that anything less than 2 or 3 months is very rare, and forget about EOD on the NHS?

How important is the fact that you have PMR relevant to hospital treatment and

? I am on a low dose of Prednisolone and recently had abdominal

Small hernia
I have Stage 3 low grade ovarian cancer and had debulking
surgery
18 months ago. I got over the
surgery
very quickly and have been very lucky with no recurrence so far. Yesterday I saw my Oncologist who said she had found a small hernia but I should carry on as normal but avoid heavy lifting.

After surgery
It has been a rocky year.My AN was 5cm+ so my only choice was operation. It should have happened last December but it was postponed because I tested positive for covid. January this year(23) my symptoms worsened and MRI showed fluid on the brain so had a shunt fitted in February. The scan showed an

A clearer picture
I asked questions about treatment and
surgery
but the surgeon said she wanted to see all test results before answering I feel better informed and know that
surgery
could happen mid/late February. And so the journey goes on! ๐ช๐ช๐ช๐๐๐

Thoracic aortic aneurysm.
I have declined
surgery
and wonder if there is anyone else in the same position . Everyone seems to have had or is awaiting
surgery
and I feel a bit on my own with this. Is it very unusual to decline
surgery
?

High TSH AND high T4 after thyroid removal
I had
surgery
to remove the tumor and my thyroid about 3 months ago (end of February). On January 22 (before the
surgery
), my TSH was 3.59 mlU/L (range of 0.40 and 4.50), and my endocrinologist instructed me to increase my Levothyroxine to 75mg.

aortic valve stenosis
Fast forward and I meet the surgeon who is very happy to go ahead with this less invasive
surgery
. A letter then arrives which refers me back to open heart
surgery
without any explanation. Apparently the opening to the aortic valve is too narrow.

Sorry if this is depressing ๐
I had my laparoscopy
surgery
in February and I was diagnosed with endometriosis. Since the
surgery
my pain has leveled up, itโs so much worse and itโs throughout the month, not just when Iโm on my period anymore.

Preparing for Open Heart surgery
So last year I was diagnosed with a 2cm ASD and was awaiting
surgery
on the 5th January via catheter. To my shock I was called on the 3rd to be told there had been a mistake and they had realised I also had PAPVD and was now going to be having open heart
surgery
