Inclisiran study Update
It’s involves two injections a year, instead of taking daily
statins
, and has a different action. The international study I am on is with 15,000 people who have a cardiac history, and I am now three years into a five year study.

Another Medichecks set of results for your expertise please as my brain fog can't make sense of them.
Cholesterol is fine - agreed I did not need
statins
. I used https://thyroid.dopiaza.org/ to calculate the Thyroid test ranges.

AF and AMD - effect of anticoagulant
I have higher than average cholesterol, but have declined
statins
. I have had wet AMD for over ten years, treated with injections of Lucentis that have stopped the condition getting worse - so I can still drive. This Tuesday I detected a sub-retinal bleed in my best eye.

Not taking Avorstatin for a week
I’ve just realised I have not brought enough
Statins
with me and I’m here for another week. How bad is it to miss
statins
for a whole week after taking them for 15 years?

Is it common to get chest pains with thyroid problems?
Last week they said it was a gastro problem (I am on aspirin, clopidogrel, BP tablets, beta blockers and
statins
as I had a heart attack and stent fitted December last year. PPI's to reduce acid cause me problems with wind coming up).

Pain and stiffness - menopause or something else?
After initial scan and blood tests, Elderly Medicine put me on cholesterol
statins
as a matter of course and have been bumbling around with lousy admin and failed communications - they seem at a loss and want to discharge me.

Heart attacks associated with amitriptyline?
Aspirin, clopidogrel,
statins
, beta blockers, BP tablets. I thought I had trigeminal neuralgia for years on and off until I saw a neurologist last week but he said he suspects my condition is hemicrania continua, very similar to TN.

I have recently been prescribed Clopidogrel, Lansoprazole and
statins
due to a potential eye stroke. Im currently undergoing various tests to identify any problems. I have close family history of heart disease and strokes. I thought this group sounded like a friendly informative place to join.

Return to big brother house
Hola, having just spent a month and a half in Spain I have now returned to Blighty and unfortunately I've had to bring my PMRGCA with me. ( we've become quite attached, its very needy) Ok so an update, still on 40mg of preds, blood thinners and beta blockers and
statins
, so nothing has changed there

12th Trip to Resus with different outcome
I left the cardiac ward with
statins
to add to my already substantial list of regular meds. Over the last 5 years I have had 11 more events with heart rate up to 200/195. Only 5 of those have I sought help for.
