Management treatment for post endometriosis surgery
Therefore, I am booked in to have the
mirena
coil inserted later this week however, again I am unsure about how I feel about this. Has anyone been in a similar situation who would be happy to share their thoughts and experience please? Thank you xx

Can Mirena work if desogestrel doesn’t?
My question is this- is it possible that the
Mirena
could work for me given that I’ve already been taking desogestrel this long and I’m getting worse bleeding?

Whats wrong with me?
My GP said no further action although I was referred to gynae again in November my 2nd referral since learning I had a bulky uterus and getting a
mirena
coil so waiting on seeing them. Im actually at the end of my tether! GP treating me like its 1. All in my mind and 2.

I have a
Mirena
coil in and have prostap every month. Seem to be at my worst in the lead up to my next injection which suggests maybe it helps and it’s just it’s running out. Having a bad flare at the moment and very fed up.

bowel stuck to my womb endometriosis and my journey so far
I have had a few follow up appointments where I have asked questions which again have been very vague, and they decided to put me on the
Mirena
coil which did help with my bleeding but did not help with my pain at all.

Gynaecologist referred me to the gastroenterologist
Mirena
coil, which I said no to as I'm sick of changing my contraception without any relief to my symptoms and also not knowing what the problem is. 2. Gastro referral to rule out digestive issues 3. Laparoscopy.

Anyone experience new ovarian cysts with the Mirena coil?
Hi, just wondering if anyone has experience of developing a painful ovarian cyst, with the
Mirena
coil in? I needed a trans vaginal ultrasound today, to check the location of my
Mirena
coil, which was placed during surgery for endometriosis.

Endometriosis? Not diagnosed yet
Was seen by gynae in Dec 2020 and fitted with a
mirena
coil due to heavy periods and was told that if it was endometriosis
mirena
coil is first thing they try. Gynae said they would be happy to see me again. Ca125 levels reduced a short while after this.

6cm ovarian cyst
Hey guys, Last Feb I had a lap to remove a large cyst on my left ovary and some endometriosis that they could remove at the time (not all was removed due to it being close to some organs etc) and they also inserted a
mirena
coil as I had the copper before and it is supposed to “help”.

Endo , mirena or post covid issues? Any advice!
But he did say my bowel looks okay 🤯 I had the
mirena
fitted. 6 days after my surgery, I caught norovirus so that caused my body a lot of pain. Constant vomiting and diarrhoea after already being run down from surgery.

Endometriosis abs migraine
I have a
Mirena
coil in which massively helps as no longer having periods however I have issues with migraine. They are constant and affect my balance. I take Nortriptyline to help but I believe the constant hormonal fluctuations from perimenopause are aggravating it.

Hello! Frustrated newbie here. Feel like i'm going crazy!
I have had the
Mirena
coil which seemed to help for a short while, but the pain came back with a vengeance. I kept being told i was too overweight for Lap surgery so out of desperation, I took myself to Latvia for a gastric bypass last year.

Feeling lost ...
After numerous trips to a and e with severe pain, last year I had an abdo and internal ultrasound which showed nothing and was advised to get the
mirena
coil done myself whilst I waited for my appointment.

Pain after Coil
Hi everyone, I recently ( one week ago) had laparoscopy that removed a cyst and treated some areas of endometriosis and also they inserted the
Mirena
Coil. I'm recovering very well and feel great apart from a pain high in my vagina, what feels like my cervix.

Trying to conceive after Mirena coil
Also wondering for those who’ve fallen pregnant, how long after
Mirena

Help please with female hormones after intro of T3 and gel to patches
I have a
mirena
coil for progesterone element. Any thoughts or help would be so helpful as I have no idea what this means so thank you in advance. I’ve been on HRT for approx 8 years and switched from tablet to gel 18 months ago due to poor absorption.

I had a
mirena
coil fitted during surgery and I was told the only option I have is to deal with the irregulated periods and side effects and I'm 'stuck', and the only other option I have is to remove the tubes - I just don't believe this is possible.

Endo or IBS?
He also said that the endo won't have returned because the
mirena
will have stopped it from doing so! I feel like other than pain in my abdomen I have no other symptoms of IBS and I'm wondering where I can go from here? Any advice appreciated

Only option was
Mirena
IUD (which I already have) and mini pill (which I took for a year and never again, turned out I have progesterone intolerance). Having to go privately with Benenden thanks to the length of the waiting lists and just looking for some guidance. Thanks!
