HRT post hysterectomy
I'm having terrible side effects with all the treatments and have
Mirena
coil in which has helped the bleeding but I still have pains, constant nausea and also very severe depression now. I'm now happy to try the surgery and realise it's not curative but will help in many of the side effects etc.

First time posting.........
Is the
mirena
coil the best option and what side effects not necessarily related to APS but the coil itself have people found. I have had friends who used this coil but hated the side effects.

Combined pill
Surgeon trying to persuade me to have
MIRENA
or Provera (progesterone only pill but this isn't a contraceptive ). Very blessed to have 1 child (5 year old girl). Unlikely I can have more due to adenomyosis but feel too old now to have another anyway. So really need contraception.

Mirena coil
I had the
mirena
coil fitted a couple of years later and had it removed in October 2016. Since having it removed, I have been suffering with severe mood swings about 10days before my period is due. Has anyone else had this?

Hello, Have the
mirena
coil 3 months now and still experiencing nausea, insomnia, severe lower back pain. Has anyone experienced the same? If so, did you have it removed or did the pain settle eventually?

Mirena coil - cramping
Hi there, I've had the
mirena
coil fitted and it's been a week. I've been experiencing severe cramps since. I was just wondering how long this tends to last as it's affecting work. Thank you :)

Mirena Coil & BV - Help!
Hi everyone, It's been really refreshing reading everyone's posts as I do sometimes feel like I'm on my own fighting the pain! I saw the consultant yesterday and I'm now waiting for a lap operation to see what's going on as they think it may be endometriosis. I suffer from BV/Thrush and they've suggested

Searching for a Diagnosis
In 2014 I had surgery to look for endometriosis and have a
mirena
coil fitted. At the time the surgeon said I was fine and my problems seemed to die down. 2 years ago they came back with a vengance and I have had countless tests and scans and surgery to remove my appendix.

Lost Mirena Coil, endometriosis, periods, bloating and pain!
Hi I know there's probably been lots of posts regarding
mirena
coils going missing (I've read lots of them trying to get my answers!) but just want to know if anyone can help me please. I suffer with endometriosis and my gynae insisted on the
mirena
last November to stop my periods.

Confused and still sore after laparoscopy
I'm also still bleeding but they inserted the
mirena
coil while I was in so I think that's to be expected. I'm now at the stage of having no idea what to do. I'm in so much pain and no painkillers are working for me.

Do I have the laparoscopy?
They fitted me with the
Mirena
coil. I have always suffered with lower back pain and pain in my pelvis and right leg. When I first had the surgery symptoms did improve but in the last 12 months my leg and hip pain got worse. Which I have posted about on here before.
