Iron deficiency and thyroid
The

profile shows no other issues other than ferritin and reading the literature around
iron

Iron Infusion Attempt
This week I saw Dr Robin Fackrell privately at Bath Sulis Hospital to discuss whether an
iron
infusion would be an appropriate way forward for me and if so how I could progress this.

vitamin results and advice on tweaking or changing supplements
This was when I added the folate back in and increased
iron
rich foods, don’t think there’s much wiggle room for more. What else can I do to get this to nearer to ‘ideal’ ?

donating blood with CLL
A few years before my diagnosis my
iron
levels were low so I could not. Was just wondering should I try to donate again. Thanks Cleve

Should I be asking for an increase in Levo?
However, I have been much more consistent with taking Vit B complex, Vit C +
iron
, Vit D+K and magnesium every day.

Hi 👋
Long story short I was very unwell afterwards and lost almost 4 litres of blood, had 3 blood transfusions and half an
iron
infusion (started to react to it half way through!).... basically my health has been down the toilet ever since December.

GP disagreement re levo. Plus wondering if FT3/TPO link to Pernicious anaemia B12 treatment?
I will now be taking Heme
iron
as dont want ferritin to drop too low again and cant afford another infusion).

Confused about latest blood tests - why are FT4 and FT3 rising, but I still feel awful and I'm undiagnosed and not on any meds?
I'm not on any meds) and my
iron
(which has somehow always been excellent in the past) appears to have gone down quite a lot.

CLL and Lupus labs
I put myself on elemental
iron
+C as I was having trouble breathing. Was so weak and fatigued. And primary put me on electrolyte salts. This all started when I had to start Zanubrutinib for CLL and hydroxychloroquine for Lupus at the same time. I also was treated in July for ehrlichia.

but my worry is that I am becoming anaemic with my results as below - I read somewhere that anaemia can be an ADT/low T problem but it isn’t usually due to low

Ferritin and folate levels
I had some blood tests run via the gp to check on my
iron
levels. They areFerritin 113 (30 -400) Folate >20 (3.8-26.8) which seem ok. I don't have a TSH and my T4 is minute caused by a non functioning pituitary. I want to increase my T3 but the Endos are horrified.

Latest Iron Panel Results - advice
Dear all, I’d be really grateful if anyone who knows about this could advise on my
iron
panel tests above? Good news is my ferritin has gone up from 65 through 85 to 105 and still taking it (not that it’s made any difference so far!). Thank you so much. X

Anyone getting gout?
My ferritin gets super low then is made really high after the
iron
infusion. Maybe this is causing it? I have read lots on
iron
and b12 possibly causing gout but nothing really concrete. Let me know your thoughts and experiences. Thank you ;)
