Most effective medications for suppressing Periodic Limb Movements of Sleep (PLMS)
The same applies to
iron
supplementation. CONCLUSIONS:Dopaminergic agents are the most powerful suppressors of PLMS. However, most therapeutic trials in RLS do not report objective polysomnographic findings, there’s a lack of uniformity in presenting results on PLMS.

Dr Mercola article about iron
Very interesting article by Dr Mercola this morning, which has had me re-thinking my

Ferritin level from last blood work
At our last meeting he wants me to try another 3 months of oral
iron
and see what ferritin level is before we do an infusion. Since coming off of ripinrole and using 900 mg of Gabapentin, my RL are almost completely gone.

what type of folate to take with b12 injections
I still have lots of symptoms and still suffering with
Iron
Deficiency Anaemia which I can't seem to get better from. I have been neglecting to take folate and am wondering which is the best form to take as I do suffer from absorption issues I think as have stomach problems sometimes.

How can you confirm iron deficiency and identify the cause
What I’m not sure of is why I’m
iron
deficient and what’s causing it. I think I have low stomach acid so I’m taking Betaine and a digestive enzyme which worked before and I took a break and it’s been 3 weeks and no change so far.

It’s not just what you eat, but the time of day you eat it
This statement reminds me of what a neurologist said to me, that our
iron
levels flatten out in the evening and that might be a reason for RLS to be more active later in the day. What is the reaction from folks in this group? Does this idea have legs? (sorry :) )

Sudden exhaustion. help?!?
I have had a full blood check with added
iron
panel etc., plus lung and heart/ecg etc and even stool sample checks. Plus TPO antibody test... All normal. Well, ferritin was 60 but still not so low as to cause this. ... Im wondering if I need to raise T4 higher?

Getting myself in a hell of a muddle!
With low Hb and MCV, a normal ferritin in the presence of inflammatory changes does not exclude
iron
deficiency. I was then told my levels were too low/high and to reduce to 100.

how much gentle iron?
what dose should i start on… i have bought
iron
bisglycinate 20 mg. But have been recommended 320 mcg ferrous sulphate. So very confused at the different levels. How do these figures relate to each other? And do you have to take gentle
iron
on an empty stomach? The bottle says to take with food.

Update 7.3 Good news this time
WIth
iron
levels higher, my energy is better and no more issues with concentration. Using the interferons to treat the PV was definitely the right choice for me. Much better than relying on venesections alone.

A (failed?) attempt to stop thyroid medicines.
Basically, I was always doubting the initial diagnosis, because my TSH was not so bad and I now know that back then I was going through a burnout phase from overworking and stress, I had very low vitamin D3, B12 and
iron
. So, I decided to wean of thyroid-s slowly (half grain every 2 weeks).
