Psa slow increase
After
docetaxel
in the very beginning psa dropped from 900 to 1,5. In 2,5 years there is a slight growth - 1,5-1,7, now 2,1. Scans are stable. Is this a dangerous trend and time to switch to arbiraterone? Or it is still stable? He is going to scans in 2 weeks

Treatment update... Back on the chemo
Nausea is a side effect I didn't have before on
Docetaxel
... They say probably from the Carboplaten... It shows up on the 4th through 7th day after the pre-infusion drugs wear off 72 hours after... The anti vomit pills help with that.

PSA Jumped Big Time in Last Month
From February to May, of 2021, I had five doses of
docetaxel
in addition to my Ellegard. The
docetaxel
absolutely beat me up, but I tried to continue my very active exercising lifestyle. From May until December, I was very encouraged that my PSA had stayed between 0.2 and 0.4.

My Jevtana/Carboplatin results to date. Plus participation in Bipolar Androgen Therapy testing
I also noted that cabazitaxel and
docetaxel
have not been compared head-to-head in combination with carboplatin and if the toxicities become limiting, I suspect that
docetaxel
may be slightly less toxic in combination with the carboplatin.

Progress with chemo
Hello again - I've finished three of the planned six
docetaxel
treatments at the Oncology Center here in Nicosia, Cyprus, where I live. The fourth is scheduled for Feb 21. After the first two treatments, my PSA fell from 58 to 20.

Keytruda + docetaxel
My MO suggests me to participate in Keytruda+
docetaxel
trial. I would appreciate if someone could educate me about the effectiveness of such combination. Thanks in advance. Bob.

Carboplatin
My husband has been on Zytiga, Lynparza, Keytruda
Docetaxel
and now Jentava. He had a bone scan on Mon which showed some progression and the psa continues to rise. His CT scan showed a blood clot in each lung.

What now, coach? (PCa has spread to liver within 3 months of starting Eligard.)
The dilemma is, will it be safe for me to start my initial
Docetaxel
treatments on Monday, 2-28-22, considering the new information I now have showing my PCa has rather dramatically spread to my liver. Below are my elevated liver enzyme levels and the summary of my 2-24-22 PET scan. Thank you!

How soon can I get a covid vaccine after chemo with docetaxel/taxotere?
I just finished my chemo and would like to get a booster vaccine for Covid. Has anyone received a Covid booster after or during chemo? Have you had any adverse effects? Alternatively, has anyone had Covid during or soon after chemo? I understand those poor brothers unfortunate enough to dye from Covid

Worried Daughter
He started on the Lupron shot and 6 rounds of chemo (
Docetaxel
). He responded well for a year before his PSA started rising again.

Second hormone therapy drug- decision needed-any views?
Then there is Apalutamide (Erleada) , approved last Sept in UK for HSMPC if
docetaxel
is not suitable ( I'm not having it in the UK but overseas and out of pocket) or 'according to the commercial arrangement'.

Rock on Cabazitaxel!!
Dx 18 months ago, becoming mCRPC after only 6 months on ADT, failing abiraterone , failing
docetaxel
and failing Lu 177 my husband was running out of options. He was in a lot of pain with a soaring PSA - things were looking grim. We had our first visit from the palliative care team two weeks ago.

single session docetaxel??
I read that 50mg
Docetaxel
every two weeks was better than 75mg every three weeks – which I interpret as that smaller doses are still effective but less destructive. Second – should I go back on
Docetaxel
when Xtandi fails – or is it better to use LU-177 or Cabazitaxel next time around?

Perjeta diarrhoea
I’m on cycle 2 of 6
Docetaxel
Perjeta Herceptin combo and have had diarrhoea (5 or 6 episodes a day) every day since I began treatment with painful bowel cramps. I take loperamide to control it but haven’t finessed the right dose yet. Consequently I am housebound and distressed.

Reply to jersey-jazz. I thought you might also be interested in my medical history.
So, switched to
Docetaxel
plus Herceptin and Perjeta. Three months later, progression. She took out
Docetaxel
and added Exemestane because I want to try hormone therapy again and this drug is the only one I have never used.
