Secondary Addison’s
I wrote a post a couple of months regarding
cortisone
levels. I now understand what is going on. I have secondary Addison’s disease, I am now depending on hydrocortisone daily. 20mg is my daily dose but this needs adjusting if I’m ill, sick, stress etc.

Hello, newbie here
My asthma is usually managed and normally I can go to exercise classes after work, however, following a chest infection at the end of November (two lots of antibiotics and one lot of oral
cortisone
) have been struggling to breathe & sleep since.

CORTISONE SHOT/THYROID
I had a
cortisone
shot in my foot 6 days ago. The skin on my face became so rough and dry, just like sand-paper. Could the
cortisone
injection have affected my thyroid to cause this condition? and will it go away in a period of time?

I'm 24 years old and female. I feel so muddled about what to do at the moment. I have so many symptoms and undergone so many tests. My TSH has jumped from 5.6 (0.2 - 4.2) to 2.2 (0.2 - 4.2) within 2 months, then 0.02 (0.2 - 4.2) to 5.44 (0.2 - 4.2) within 4 weeks! Vitamins and minerals I have been told

PMR - new symptoms
I saw the GP today and he said my deltoid bursa and deltoid tendon were irritated, so he gave me a
cortisone
shot. It's been 8 hrs since the shot and I am experiencing Improvement, but still have a little residual pain. Has anyone else experienced something like this overnight?

Undiagnosed Hand/Wrist/Arm Pain
They diagnosed me with tendinitis, and gave me
cortisone
shots and anti-inflammatory medication, which did not help. After two years of increased pain, they ran nerve tests again, which came back positive for carpal tunnel syndrome.

Mostly dizzy, waiting for a diagnosis, and looking for answers
I had three rounds of
cortisone
shots and physical therapy, which didn’t seem to help. Over time, it simply improved on its own. My bigggest issue is the pain in my temples, dizziness, nausea, and ringing in ears.

Help! Best Private Functional Adrenal Dr UK :-)
I would really appreciate any PM's with recommendations of good private functional Dr's anywhere in the UK. It seems like such a minefield! I'm so desperate as I'm currently housebound due to low cortisol, Iron, Vitamin D and Zinc. I would love some support to get me out of this pickle! I don't really

Tapering at a snails pace but still having withdrawal issues
I notice also, and perhaps this is due to
cortisone
being lower at night, that if I turn over during the night my arms are so so tired and I feel stiffness in my pectoral muscles. All is back to normal on waking. I am currently mid way between 1.5 and 1.25mg. Generally quite tired but doing ok.

How do you make people understand?
Hello, I have been struggling with hip/knee pain for almost 10 days by now,
cortisone
is not being that helpful and I think I am only alive because of Aspirin. Anyways, I feel like it's extremely difficult to make people understand that despite the fact I am walking around, going to school etc.

PMR or Ra
She did 1
cortisone
shot in my shoulder. And brought up the dreaded medicine Methotrexite. I got a second opinion from Orthopedic doctor. He said I might need arthscopic surgery to have fluid removed. Should I ask doctor for blood test RF, ANTI-CCP and ANA before I go on MXT?
