Hi beenard, My doctor told me to eat dairy - I eat cheese and yogurt, and broccoli and most greens. Sardines and salmon also have a lot of calcium. I take supplements - calcium and vitamin D. Vitamin D helps in the absorption of calcium. Good luck.

Yes I take and eat all those plus k2 vitamin . I wish there was a pill to treat osteoporosis with no nasty side effects.

I also heard that being physically active helps with bone density. I haven't tried osteo drugs yet, hope I won't have to. My scores have stayed the same since taking Calcium and vitamin D.

I am usually active and exercise but had to stop as I have hurt my leg seeing physio soo so hope to be back to walking more and excercise.i had a dexa scan 6 months ago and am waiting to see if I’m able to have another to see if my excercise and supplements and diet have helped before I decide to go on meds.but I really want to avoid doing so if possible

Can you go see a nutritionist or dietitian where you live?
