Hi, it's my 13yr old daughter who has pcos but I'm a very worried & trying my best to be supportive mother! She has raised testosterone, androstenedione, excess acne, hair growth, weight issues & most damaging in my opinion low mood.

It's been a minefield so far.

Much the same as me when I was diagnosed. She was very lucky to be diagnosed so young. I had to wait till I was 31.

We do have a Facebook group for most areas of the UK so I would look on their if you use FB as there is loads of local support there, search for Verity PCOS

Shame as it’s the most active place for pcos ladies as it seems to be the preferred way nowadays

Wish there was a social network just for medical conditions. Would make my life a whole lot easier
