Recent research shows that a plant based diet helps the body produce more insulin in those with type 2 diabetes.

Good morning everyone,

I think that this is a really interesting article as it shows on a randomised test those who had a plant based meal compared to the ones who had a meat based meal with the same calories and micronutrients helped the body to produce more insulin in those with type 2 diabetes.

As type 2 diabetes is an escalating world problem the more that is known about reversing it the better.
