Hi all,
It started when I was about 8 years old and being tested positive for many household allergies that sort of subsided until l was in my early forties when they surreptitiously returned and with the new addition of Asthma. At mid forties my nose was regularly stuffy/runny and especially when I drank alcohol.
As I've aged the rhinitis symptoms have increased so much so that I am now unable to drink (at all due to pronounced symptoms). Each day I struggle to breath easily through my nose and with regular bouts of sinusitis.
The good news is that I was prescribed Prednisolone (20mg per day x 5 days). Day 2, today, 24 Jan and I'm feeling superb, like I did when I was 30!
So its how best to proceed which l suppose depends on remissions, doctors help and advice from others like perhaps this forum.
I should also mention other related ailments I've had over the decades like; iritis, polymyalgia, swollen ankles, knees, sore neck, lower back, (due in inflammation), several UTIs not sure if related but suspect its due to inflammation and even a super enlarged big toe!
Otherwise I'm good 👍 and realise their are many out there dealing with a lot worse who I wish find better health 🙏 as time passes.
All the best guys.
