Hi Everyone, πŸ‘‹

I'm new to HealthUnlocked so still figuring things out.πŸ™ƒ I hope this post is allowed - if it's not please do remove it!!

I'm looking for the opinions and experience of people with MCAS who live in Scotland. The specialist consultant that's been overseeing my MCAS care is winding down with their career and has therefore advised me to seek an alternative medical professional to oversee my care. The consultant that diagnosed me and has overseen my care up to this point was based in England. The list of alternative medical professionals to oversee my care are based in Scotland. I just wondered if anyone here has seen or had any experience with any of these medical professionals as I don't know who to go with. The Private GP is ruled out as I cannot afford private care but I'm still interested in peoples experience in case I have no alternative in future. I know none of these medical professionals are MCAS specialists but it seems to be more a case of finding someone who acknowledges or knows of MCAS.

The names I was given are:

Moira Thomas Immunologist Glasgow

Konstantina Christogiani Allergy Western General

Terrina Dickson Private GP Edinburgh (Can't afford but still interested in peoples experience)

If there is anyone else that anyone has had a positive experience with in Scotland please do let me know. It would be very much appreciated. πŸ™‚ Thanks!
