Seeking a Specialist!

Hi all,

Finally got round to speaking to my GP as am keen to investigate whether childhood UP has developed into my adulthood. To say it was a bit of a disaster would be an understatement. I made it very clear from the start I was asking for a referral to a specialist but, having never heard of UP, he just wouldn't listen to what I was saying in relation to symptoms and my own research. I am hoping that someone might be able to recommend a specialist (I'm currently based in North Yorkshire but would be happy to travel when allowed) ideally NHS but if necessary will definitely consider private. Please do let me know as I think it's looking as though I'll need to find a way to somehow get around my GP. Thanks in advance for any suggestions
