From June 16th-26th there is The Space City Festival in sunny Southsea with 70 events over 11 days
There's lots of indoor and outdoor music; classical, folk everything as well as street theastre and lots of arts events
For those of you (us) who are sometimes a bit noisy Southsea is a well-chilled out kind of town and with the general carnival atmosphere an opportunity to attend performances and be your (our) selves without the usual sneers
And festiival finale street carnival procession and a firework display - even that last day, which is on a Sunday, would be worth the visit
Lovely beaches and harbours too
Oh. and they're still looking for people who would like to perform............Catherine, Jimmy, Garry...........................
